Eli here. I set up Dweller because I passionately believe in promoting naturally grown, indigenous produces that are good for you and the community.
I grew up in Manipur (North East India) with lively memories of playing sports with my neighbours and relishing local fruits with them. Anything seemed possible then. As a little girl, with my diary at hand, I would often dream of creating a happy place.
Happy place meant a place where everyone can grow, and lead a simple and joyful life by making the most of what we already have. At a tender age of twelve, limited opportunities in my hometown drove me away for better education, job and life. And while going with the flow, I often wondered what happened to that little dream.
Armed with savings and a basic plan, I decided to leave my job at an investment bank in London and then Singapore to start Dweller. To me, Dweller meant finally coming back home with reignited passion to create that happy place.
Dweller Sips are based on natural, healthy, indigenous produces I grew up relishing. My childhood favourites are Hei-mang, Roselle and Nong-mang-kha. It’s the Dweller Promise to keep it naturally delightful and make with care, while we strive for sustainable and joyful livelihoods.
